All new REALTOR® members* of the Board are required to complete a New Member Orientation Program within their first 180 days of acceptance as a requirement of membership. The Board offers this program quarterly.
At this program, you will learn more about what the REALTOR® Association has to offer, meet Board leaders and network with other new members of the REALTOR® Association. Complimentary refreshments will be served. Associates may invite their Principals to join them also.
Our 4th quarter New Member Orientation program will be held at the Board office in Providence.
Once details are finalized, we will post the date and time here and also contact our newer members with the details.
Special thanks to our generous New Member Orientation sponsors:
D'Ellena Law Office
Lynch's Cleaning & Restoration
Rhode Island Housing
*As a point of reference, REALTOR® isn't a synonym for real estate broker or real estate salesperson. A REALTOR®, simply put, is an individual who has voluntarily sought membership in the REALTOR® Association and abides by the Code of Ethics of the NAR. A REALTOR® is someone who is licensed as either a real estate salesperson or broker, appraiser, auctioneer, counselor or property manager. The REALTOR® Association’s Bylaws require all REALTOR® members to complete the New Member Orientation Program.
